60 Seconds Time Out Tuesday Drop Your Shoulders

Coming to you from Whidbey Island Washington, this is 60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday.

Walking along the road the other day and pausing to look at the bay I felt my shoulders up around my ears. I was reminded of the story about a team of pack animals struggling their way up a mountainside. The last pony in line was wearing a saddle but the horse just ahead of him was burdened with boxes and bags and baskets. The pony said: "Good grief, what a heavy load they have you carrying!" The horse turned it’s head & asked: "What load?" You see we get used to carrying so much we don’t even realize.

Right now, in this moment stop, take a few deeps breaths, drop your shoulders and smile to them. Thank them for what they’ve been carrying for you and tell them that in the future you will take care to burden them less. Then wait for a moment while they smile back at you.
