60 Seconds Time Out Tuesday Breathing Meditation

Breathing as meditation in 5 easy steps to calm and soothe you. 

I've been practicing breathing and walking as meditation. You might like this practice as well. There’s 5 steps, as follows. Repeat each set of steps as often as you like. I find that 3 repetitions works well :

Breathing in may I be peaceful, happy and light in mind, body & spirit.

Breathing out I release all tension in my body.

Breathing in may I be safe and free from injury.

Breathing out, I relax my whole body.

Breathing in may I be free from anger, afflictions, fear and despair.

Breathing out I let go of past regrets and future worries.

Breathing in may I learn to look at myself with the eyes of understanding and love.

Breathing out I smile to my life.  

Breathing in I dwell in the present moment.

Breathing out I know this is a wonderful moment.
