Some years back I enjoyed Tangerine Meditation with my teacher, the venerable Thich Nhat Hanh. We spent an hour eating the tangerine each of us was given. An hour. For a tangerine. You might laugh. But I can tell you this: such a practice fosters focus, concentration, mindfulness, informs your partnering, your parenting, even your leadership skills.
How so? You try. Enjoy one whole piece of fruit - for as long as you can possibly manage.
