Hypnosis Episode - 12 minutes to fall asleep deeply (and wake-up energized)

Published: Aug. 5, 2021, 10:30 a.m.

Today, we focus on deep, restful sleep. This relaxing hypnosis will ease you into a beautifully deep healing sleep. So, be safe: do not listen to this recording while driving!

HUMBLE BRAG MOMENT: this month (August 2021), Stories from the Subconscious Podcast has reached 3,000 unique listens! Thank YOU for listening and sharing - we all truly do have the ability to help even just one person.

NOW, let’s talk about this month’s HYPNOSIS EPISODE.

This month, we are focusing on SLEEP - so the episode will be a little different than the past. I will NOT count you back UP. So it is designed to guide you into a beautiful nap or send you off to sleep at night.

I can already hear the question: DOES THAT MEAN I WON’T WAKE UP AND I’LL BE STUCK IN HYPNOSIS!?

No, of course not. You still hear a doorbell ring when you’re really into watching a movie, right? Listening to a guided hypnosis is the same thing. There is no such thing as getting stuck in hypnosis.

And since the objective of this hypnosis is to welcome in rest, the objective is to allow you to sink into that rest and relaxation deeper and deeper so that you wake up energized with  intention.

Doesn’t that sound spectacular?!

The truth is: the more you go to sleep with intention, the easier it is to wake up with intention. And the easier it is to wake up with intention, the more you go to sleep with intention. It's a cycle, you see?

As any of you know, I am a Certified Aromatherapist (as well as a Certified Hypnotherapist) and for me, the two practices compliment each other seamlessly. Here are my recommendations to accompany your inhales for this hypnosis:

  1. Lavender Essential Oil: it has been SCIENTIFICALLY shown to bring someone from a more active beta brain wave state into an alpha brain wave state. It’s like you are pre-gaming if you use lavender before hypnosis. Perhaps “priming” is a better word for it.

NOTE: There are MORE lavender products in the world than there is lavender essential oil to supply them. What does that mean? It means that there is a LOT of synthetic fragrance out there posing as lavender. If it is synthetic and NOT plant based (like lavender essential oil is), it will not have the chemical constituents to interact with the brain in such a way as to help bring the brain into theta. Quality is the #1 focus when we talk essential oils. So read your labels and do your homework. Lastly, Lavandin IS NOT LAVENDER! Alright I’ll put that topic to bed.

  2. Many do not enjoy lavender. If that is you, I recommend Cedarwood or Black Spruce essential oils.

**Inhaling essential oils before practicing hypnosis is not obligatory, however it will help deepen the practice.**

So, go ahead and start inhaling your oils and bringing your focus and awareness to your breath…Because you are about to sleep like a baby.

Are you ready?!
