Tonight's special topic will be 'Self Care'. The open mike\xa0discussion\xa0will be led by\xa0AmyAnna Soto\xa0from Modesto, California, a survivor of severe child abuse, rape and stalking.\xa0AmyAnna is a Certified Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery\xae Practitioner, with an office in Modesto, California.\xa0Her own healing journey gives her unique insight into helping others through the process of SMGI\xae.\xa0She loves being able to bring relief to her clients whether it be from stress, physical pain, emotional pain or repressed traumas.\xa0She is delighted when clients realize they have the power and ability to connect with their inner wisdom in order heal themselves.\xa0AmyAnna has 10 years experience working for organizations advocating for mental health and trauma healing.\xa0In 2014, she became a community voice through public speaking on these matters.\xa0AmyAnna learned through organizing writing and arts and crafts groups, trauma survivors can receive a type of healing not available through talk therapy or words alone.\xa0As a former Certified Nursing Assistant, AmyAnna learned how strong the human spirit can be and the importance of kindness and compassion in one\u2019s most dire moments.\xa0AmyAnna is an artist and poet who has shown her work in Minneapolis, Seattle, San Francisco and Modesto.\xa0She is currently working on a memoir. ~~ On these episodes we welcome various co-hosts, survivor-professionals who'll assist in fielding questions and lead a variety of topics suggested by our call-in participants.
