Tonight's special guest is Luke Wiersma from Dyer, Indiana. Luke was abused at 16 by  an older woman aged 22 who was a 'friend' of someone he was in school with. For the next two years she provided intoxicants to the boys and either convinced or forced them to do sexual things with her and she'd perform sexual acts on the youngsters. Luke, an addict, got hooked, and says, "I was under her control. The choice was following her lead and be able to get high, or to object and be sick because of withdrawal. Manipulation was her greatest tool. I did not want to be sick, so I did what was necessary to get the drugs I so badly needed." He became desperate. "Usually, I was too messed up to fight much. None of this is hard to do with someone who is drunk or high. I was unable to consent. Even if I was, I was only sixteen and was legally unable to. She was twenty-two and she knew what she was doing was wrong. I remember hearing banging, the sounds of screaming in excitement, and laughter. I do not know who's but these details stick with me to this day. I remember the park and the bathroom where this all happened." As high school ended so did the abuse. "This continued until I reached the age of eighteen. At the age of eighteen it all suddenly stopped. I am still to this day unsure why, but I thank God for this. Only thing I could think was I aged out. There was at least one other victim I know of but due to discretionary reasons I cannot include that in these writings. I did see him at one point attempt suicide and I attempted unsuccessfully 4 separate times." Thankfully, Luke got sober instead.
