Aaron was always rebellious, even as a young child. At 13 he started smoking marijuana and drinking at 14. He quickly discovered how easy it was to steal pills from friends\u2019 bathroom cabinets. Aaron says he was addicted to Oxycontin for a year and a half.\xa0 At age 20, Aaron was arrested for writing fake prescriptions for pills.\xa0 This led to his bottoming-out,\xa0 in 2001, when he entered an in-patient rehab center and has been sober ever since.
