Episode Main Points:
1) Being Bold can pay off. Nikisha drove up to a cosmetics company, turned it her resume and basically told them that they needed to hire her. They did!! This sent her on a the journey of a lifetime. Her boldness paid off. Take a chance on yourself.
2) The Beauty industry is a multi-million if not billion dollar industry. Black women and minority women are major consumers, yet there are not many of us in the field. Nikisha is doing her part to get the word out that we need BIPOC in this industry so that products represent us and assist us in everything from our hair to our skin.
3) Its important that if we are in this industry or we have a product idea that we own our own stuff. If you go to have your product manufactured by someone else, unless you can pay for it or buy it back, then you don't own it and can't use it. Don't let this be you.
