Case Overview: Nereida Melendez (1989)

On June 5, 1989, 17-year-old Nereida Melendez was supposed to graduate from high school in Worcester, Massachusetts.

After failing to arrive at her graduation rehearsal, her family mounted a search. Tragically, Nereida's body was found in a nearby park the next day.

There have been several leads and suspects in her case since, but it remains unsolved.
