The star of\xa0Shadow of a Doubt\xa0and\xa0The Third Man\xa0excelled at playing both noble heroes and charming villains, and he got to do both frequently on \u201cradio\u2019s outstanding theater of thrills.\u201d We\u2019ll hear him in \u201cCrime Without Passion\u201d (originally aired on CBS on May 2, 1946) and \u201cFly By Night\u201d (originally aired on CBS on September 28, 1950).
