A real-life hero in Hollywood, Herbert Marshall lost a leg in World War I before he went on to a long career on the stage and screen. The handsome, debonair actor made a name for himself as a romantic lead and later as a character actor. In addition to twenty appearances on Suspense, Marshall starred on radio as a globetrotting secret agent in The Man Called X and made the rounds on radio comedies. We\u2019ll hear him as a writer out for revenge against his son\u2019s killer in \u201cThe Beast Must Die\u201d (originally aired on CBS on July 13, 1944) and in a real-life story of a solider blackmailed into treason in \u201cBetrayal in Vienna\u201d (originally aired on CBS on October 8, 1951).
