Harvey is the Chairman of the STOP HILLARY PAC and a former Senator from Colorado. 

At the age of 22, Ted received a political appointment to serve in the White House of President Ronald Reagan.  He returned to Colorado empowered by the vision of the Reagan Revolution and committed to defend the foundational values of our nation.

After returning home Ted quickly became involved in Colorado politics and secured a staff position in the Colorado House of Representatives as the House Reading Clerk.  After two years, Ted became the Program Director at the Independence Institute a conservative/libertarian Colorado think tank.  For over two decades, Ted has been working with conservative grassroots activists, organizations and campaigns to help lead a conservative revolution in Colorado.

In December of 2001 through a vacancy election Ted was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives and became a conservative leader inside the Capitol.   He was re-elected in both 2002 and 2004, and was then elected to the State Senate in 2006 and 2010.

During his 13 years in the legislature, Ted has worked closely with conservative 2nd Amendment and pro-life groups, National Right to Work and liberty organizations throughout the Colorado to elect a conservative majority in the state legislature.

During the 2014 election cycle, Senator Harvey ran the Rand Paul for President efforts in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana until Senator Rand suspended his campaign.  Senator Harvey ultimately attended the National GOP convention as a Ted Cruz delegate.
