In today's LIVE Q&A Saturday we are trying to conclude our response to @namanxpatel and his feedback, since we felt a bit unsatisfied with how we left it, or maybe more like we felt our answer was incomplete: "For example- In order to follow or fulfill my dharma all I need is to follow Yuga Dharma which means that chanting holy names of Lord Krishna and Hare Krishna mahamantra as this is the only way to attain moksha in Kali Yuga. Am I thinking correctly? Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Furthermore, I should also follow Varnasharma Dharma which Vyasa describes in Krishna’s Geeta as the 4 varnas that identify a person based on his or her nature or ‘karma’ not lineage, cast or family background. Is that right?
Finally, as a person who has deep and profound love for Krishna. And as a person who has lived in India and America surrounded by people who don’t follow dharma. How do I deal with them; it’s mentally torturing how ignorant people are to their lifestyle and surroundings. For example eating beef or meat knowing where it comes from and knowing the agony poor cows go throughout their lifetime just to become a peace of flesh to satisfy someone’s hunger. How can I let that happen. How can Krishna let that happen when the whole universe is made up of Krishna himself. Where dose dharma fit into this?"
