WHAT’S MY ROLE ?

I’m currently a happy UX Design. Throughout my career, I’ve taken many roles: software developer, Agile coach, team lead, product owner and UX designer. I’ve enjoyed the challenges of crafting software solutions wearing these different hats and thrived on building an understanding of projects and teams from many perspectives. I find my current UX Designer hat very interesting because it allows me to contribute in improving teams (and clients) efficiency, keep learning new things, apply my skills in different domains and work with people from many disciplines. WHAT’S

MY TYPE ?

Depends on who you ask — I’ve taken a few strengths/personality assessments over the years! My principal traits are that I am responsible, adaptable, imaginative and a learner. What this boils down to is that I take ownership of what I say I will do. I take things as they come, yet I can think up ideas for a broad long term vision or for a very specific need. Being part of a team is also important for me, as this is how I am able to share knowledge and continuously improve by learning from others. This excerpt from an assessment best summarizes me: “You are a practical explorer. Your rich storehouse of knowledge and expertise complemented by your ability to visualize unique solutions, to clearly see what\'s possible, allows you to bring a common-sense approach to big ideas. You are always thinking about how to move forward. You may make recommendations that others consider somewhat irrational, but they soon learn to trust the magic of your "method" because they witness your accomplishments. You thrive where you can produce independently or with highly competent people who don\'t slow down your ideas.”
