In 2004, Yoni\xa0worked as an animation director for\xa0Ari Folman's\xa0documentary series,\xa0The material that love is made of.\xa0

Their collaboration continued with\xa0Yoni\xa0as an animation director in\xa0Ari Folman's\xa0Academy Award\xa0nominated Waltz with Bashir. Yoni\xa0also developed the Adobe Flash Cutout technique for the film.

In 2009, he made several short films for human rights organizations, notably the short film Closed Zone, protesting against the Gaza blockade. Yoni\xa0also worked as an animation director in the short film The Gift, and The Story of Cholera.

More recently,\xa0Yoni\xa0worked as the Animation Director for Ari Folman's\xa0feature The\xa0Congress, based on a novel by Stanislaw Lem.\xa0
