Tarik Saleh - Gitmo and Metropia

Tarik Saleh is the co-founder of Atmo, a Film and TV production company in Stockholm, Sweden.

\n

Tarik started his career as a graffiti artist as a member of the internationally acclaimed All In One crew. His murals can still be spotted in suburbs west of Stockholm.\xa0 In Sweden, Tarik is also well known as a TV-host, director and debater.

\n

In 2001, he co-directed Sacrificio \u2013 Who Betrayed Che Guevara?. He has directed several other award-winning creative documentaries including Gitmo \u2013 The New Rules of War, about the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base with additional visits to Washington, Stockholm, Bucharest, and Abu Ghraib, along with co-director Erik Gandini.

Tarik\u2019s passion for animation drove him to form Atmo Animation.

\n

The Atmo Animation group has written and produced over 30 short animation films and his 1st animated feature Metropia, about is running out of oil and the undergrounds have been connected into a gigantic subway network beneath Europe.\xa0 Its voice cast includes: Vincent Gallo, Juliette Lewis, Udo Kier, Stellan Skarsg\xe5rd, and Alexander Skarsg\xe5rd.
