Richard began stunt work following a career in US Army Special Operations and Defense Department, as well as a teaching martial arts. His first project was choreographing action fight scenes for the NFL Cleveland Browns fantasy video Masters Of The Gridiron.

Richard is currently Director of Stunt Predators USA & SFX based out of Ohio, and he has worked on dozens of films, including: A Better Way To Die, Take Shelter, The Kings Of Summer, Dog Eat Dog, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Between Worlds, Dark Waters, I See You, Don't Tell A Soul, and Holler.

In addition to his film work, Richard is a sought-after motivational speaker. With blackbelts in Karate, Judo and Jujitsu, he also teaches at his dojo, The Madison Combined Martial Arts Association, in Madison, Ohio.
