Mark Becker - Documentary Filmmaker, Editor, and Cinematographer

Mark\xa0Becker co-edited the award winning Lost Boys of Sudan, which won an\xa0Independent Spirit Award.

Mark has also worked as an editor for Lucasfilm, PBS, and on various\xa0independent productions. Working as a cinematographer, he has filmed documentaries for\xa0PBS, the BBC, MTV, and the\xa0Discovery Channel.

\n

Mark\xa0produced and directed Romantico, about a troubadour returns home to scratch out a living in Mexico after years of\xa0trying to get ahead in San Francisco. \xa0

\n

Mark\xa0was the director, editor, and cinematographer for the documentary film Pressure Cooker about three Frankford High\xa0seniors that find an unlikely ally in the form of culinary arts teacher Wilma Stephenson.

\n

More recently,\xa0Mark\xa0edited and co-wrote sequences for the inspiring documentary, Circo, about a hardscrabble traveling\xa0Mexican circus troupe that has lived and performed on the road since the 19th Century, and its chances for survival today.
