Lol's\xa0first feature credit was on an American independent film for\xa0Lance Hammeron\xa0Ballast\xa0and also the feature,\xa0Better Things, which world-premiered at theCannes Film Festival.

Lol\xa0also worked on the acclaimed satire\xa0Four Lions, the Armenian road movie romance\xa0Here, and the Alaskan thriller\xa0On the Ice. He also worked on the acclaimed\xa0BBC\xa0miniseries\xa0The Crimson Petal and the White.

Lol\xa0recently was the director of photography on the film\xa0Hyde Park on Hudson, a story about the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret "Daisy" Suckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.

Lol's\xa0most recent work has been in South Africa as the director of photography on\xa0the acclaimed biopic,\xa0Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom, about\xa0Nelson Mandela's\xa0life.
