Laszlo Rajk - Hungarian Production Designer, Art Director, and Architect - Man From London, The Turin Horse, Mirage, The Martian, and Son of Saul

Laszlo has an artistic portfolio full of striking and unconventionally-built architectural projects along with over 50 film sets as Production Designer or Art Director. \xa0\xa0

Laszlo was the production designer of Bela Tarr's last two films: Man from London and The Turin Horse. He did the design for the first short film\xa0of Laszlo Nemes called With a Little Patience, and later worked on his Golden Globe winning and Oscar nominated, Son of Saul.

Laszlo collaborated as\xa0Art Director on Ridley Scott's latest movie, The Martian.

Laszlo believes that every architect should design film sets not only for the relatively quick turnaround time but also to learn how to cheat with perspectives and lines. That is the aim of his teaching at the University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest, where he is a professor in\xa0Film Architecture.
