Kazuhiro Tsuji - Sculptor and Prosthetic Makeup Designer - Rhapsody in August, Men In Black, Planet of the Apes, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Darkest Hour

Born in Kyoto, Japan, Kazuhiro is a contemporary hyperrealist sculptor living and working in Los Angeles, with 25 years experience as a special effects makeup artist in Hollywood.

Some of Kazu's film projects include Akira Kurosawa's\xa0film, Rhapsody in August, Men in Black, Planet of the Apes, Hellboy, Click, Norbit, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

More recent film work includes Looper, Place Beyond the Pines, and most recently Darkest Hour,\xa0where Kazu won an Oscar for his work in transforming Gary Oldman into Winston Churchill.\xa0

In the realm of sculpture, Kazu has collaborated with contemporary artist Paul McCarthy on several projects and is currently focused on producing large scale hyperrealist portrait sculpture.\xa0
