Kari is an award winning costume designer with an innovative style for creating believable characters for feature films, dance/theater and television.\xa0

Always looking for a creative challenge,\xa0 Kari\xa0prefers a more sustainable approach to costume design, often building wardrobe from community recycled clothing and fabrics.

Kari\xa0has worked with some of Austin\u2019s most prolific dance choreographers and many theatrical productions over the years.\xa0

In addition to dance and theatre, Kari has designed over 20 feature films, including an ongoing projects for Richard Linklater including: Dazed and Confused, Fast Food Nation, A Scanner Darkly, Bernie, along with Love and a .45, Skateland, and Puncture.

Kari's upcoming projects include the films: When Angels Sing, Jeff Nichols\u2019 film\xa0Mud, and The Devil\u2019s Knot for Atom Egoyan.
