Hughes has over the years edited Sling Blade, A Slipping-Down Life, The Pursuit of Happyness, The Great Debaters, Seven Pounds, Teen Patti, The Help, and\xa0Pixels.

More recently, Hughes\xa0edited the acclaimed Oscar\xa0nominated Fences, working again with actor/director Denzel Washington, and the upcoming All I See Is You for Marc Forster.
