Dutch Production Designer, Floris Vos studied as a furniture maker and worked as a set-builder for Dutch television.\xa0
\nFloris then began working with productions designers on film work in different capacities on films for Peter Greenaway,\xa0Robert Altman, and Sally Potter.
\nBy 1997,\xa0Floris\xa0began working exclusively as a production designer, developing a steady working relationship with a select\xa0group of directors and production companies, including for photographer Erwin Olaf, directors Martin Koolhoven and\xa0Alejandro Agresti, and for IDTV Films (formerly Motel Films).
\nFloris\xa0has received awards in production design for a number of films that he has worked on, including Valentin, about an 8-year-old boy, raised by his grandmother, surrounded by problems in his family he finds only himself capable of solving set in the 1960s in Argentina, and Winter in Wartime, taking place at the end of World War II, about a 14-year-old boy that becomes involved with the Resistance after coming to the aid of a wounded British soldier.
