Diego Velasco - Venezuelan Director and Writer - The Zero Hour

Diego has worked as a Director of Photography on numerous projects including Tony Bravo and Mutiny, an official\xa0selection at the Sundance Film Festival.\xa0

In 2001,\xa0Diego\xa0was hired to direct the Latin American sitcom, Planeta de 6, for the Venezuelan television network\xa0Televen. The show was nominated for an INTE Award for Best Television Comedy.\xa0

Diego\xa0was selected to participate in Fox Searchlab, a program created in order to further the\xa0careers of up and coming filmmakers. Day Shift is the result of this collaboration.

\n

Diego co-wrote and directed his first feature film, The Zero Hour, a gritty, fast-paced heist thriller, that was the\xa0highest grossing Venezuelan film in history, Set in Caracas during the 24 hours of a controversial medical strike.
