143. Loneliness vs Solitude

Loneliness is the painful experience of disconnection, longing for love and companionship. Solitude is the nurturing and fulfilling experience of deep time alone and connected with oneself and the larger consciousness system. These are very different perspectives and feelings in the same circumstance of being alone.

Introverts may crave time for themselves, while extroverts crave time with others. Renee talks about the vast difference between loneliness and isolation and contentment in solitude. Each has it's place and calls us to grow and change in different ways.
