2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

We Wear the Mask
\xa0
By Paul Laurence Dunbar
We wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,\u2014
This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.
\xa0
Why should the world be over-wise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 We wear the mask.
\xa0
We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing, but oh the clay is vile
Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 We wear the mask!
\xa0
He let me fail but He didn\u2019t let me fall.
\xa0
love you,
