Last week I say Romans 8:28 sucked - 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

This week the Lord told me something about that.\xa0 He gave me clarity.

\xa0

You know what sucks?\xa0 Dying and not getting a chance to do ANYTHING.\xa0 Let alone complain.\xa0

If you hear me right now, consider if you couldn\u2019t.\xa0 Consider where you might be if you were unable to hear this podcast epoisode.\xa0 Would you be sick, in the hospital, without hearing, ears, dead and waiting judgement?

Let say you woke up from being knocked unconscious like our heroes in the movies.\xa0 You discovered yourself to be now tied up in a jail, shackled to the floor. When you woke up.\xa0 You got two choices, say damn this suck or YAY them mofos didn\u2019t kill me yet.\xa0 Its all perspective.\xa0 And the latter is best because if GOD didn\u2019t let the enemy take you out, you are still apart of the great plan.\xa0 You still got work.\xa0 You are still important.\xa0 You are still a player in the game.

I was at the traffic light coming to work. and I remembered my Call to ministry. It was to serve.\xa0 My situation, with my wifes health changed my life.\xa0 It changed me.\xa0 I thought I had it going on.\xa0 I was feeling like a failure in some things in my life.\xa0 It\u2019s a common thing at certain points in your life, when you feel like you haven\u2019t accomplished what you should have.\xa0 Or you compare yourself with others.\xa0 And the result often is, this sucks.\xa0 But I said all things work together for the good, right.\xa0 Whose Good?\xa0 To Them that love God comma and to them to who are called according to his purpose.

What does my wifes situation have to do with you?\xa0 Because of how I am now, I deliver a message that I would not be saying had my life not being like this.\xa0 YOU get the benefits of my suffering to remind you of the value of loving and trusting GOD.\xa0 I am you crash test dummy.\xa0 Don\u2019t be like me, be better.\xa0 Serve the Lord with Gladness.\xa0 Count it all joy when you realize that GOD is with you.\xa0 You could be going through this crap alone but YOU are not.\xa0 You have an advocate.\xa0 You have a savior.\xa0 You have a counselor.\xa0 You have a mighty God.

Let me share with you something to illustrate how God let me know he was with me during this time in my life.

My wife is going back under the knife next week.\xa0 She is worried about it herself.\xa0 She hasn\u2019t been feeling well since November.\xa0 But the way I see things now, I got two choices.\xa0 Bless God for everything He has already done, Praise Him because He is God and worthy of it.\xa0 Be stupidly joyful because He is with me?

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Why be sad, depressed, cast down, defeated, and not be grateful for everything He has done for me this far in my six decades of living?

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4

Thankful for what?

1.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Beauty--because it exalts and inspires.

2.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Beginnings--because everything has one.

3.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Books--because they cultivate your mind.

4.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Challenges--because without them there's no achievement.

5.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Change--because it's the only way to grow.

6.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Connections--because they're the soul of business.

7.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Education--because to live fully, you must constantly learn.

8.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Experience--because it happens no matter what.

9.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Facebook--because... oops, I mean Tumblr.

10.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Helping--because it shows that we care.

11.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Honesty--because lies are hurtful.

12.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Hugs--because they bring people closer.

13.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Insight--because it solves problems.

14.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Kindness--because it makes the world a nicer place.

15.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Language--because grunting only gets you so far.

16.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Laughter--because it makes you lighthearted.

17.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Laws--because without them there'd be chaos.

18.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Life--because the alternative is death.

19.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Mistakes--because they're the best way to grow.

20.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Opportunities--because that's how you make money.

21.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Perspective--because it helps create balance.

22.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Possibilities--because they're all around us.

23.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Purpose--because without one you're pointless.

24.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Relationships--because they're what make us human.

25.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Reunions--because they bring past joys to the present.

26.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Sewers--because the alternative stinks.

27.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Smiles--because they make everyone more attractive.

28.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Soap--because everybody used to smell bad.

29.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Stars--because they're a billion points of light.

30.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Success--because it's why we bother.

31.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Sunrises--because they're a new beginning.

32.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Sunsets--because they cap a perfect day.

33.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Taxes--because they're the price of civilization.

34.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Teachers--because if there weren't any you wouldn't be reading this.

35.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Technology--because stone axes don't cut it.

36.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Transportation--because it's now so easy.

37.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Travel--because it broadens your mind.

38.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Vision--because it creates innovation.

39.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Wealth--because it multiplies itself.

40.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Wisdom--because foolishness is so common.

41.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Work--because it's how you make a difference.

42.\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0 Yourself--because YOU are why you're unique.

Thank God for the trials that make you stronger.

1 Peter 1:6-7 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith\u2014of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire\u2014may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

\xa0In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
