Though Freaks follows a familiar set of storytelling beats, the visual and auditory expression is distinctly Germanic / European.\nIn this episode we discuss the gritty down-to-earth approach to the superhero genre and the way morality and ethics come to the fore. In our science section, we talk about real-life people with super powers that are frankly quite amazing.
