Gods plan - not one time (v.3) Fornication- all immoral sins (porn) - anything that provokes sexual desires which cannot be righteously fulfilled (porneia) Uncleanness- moral purity Covetousness- greediness Filthiness obscenity Foolish talking- unwise talk Jesting- vulgarity - not one idol (3,5) - not one deception (6) - not one fellowship (11) - a close relationship - not one word (12) 2. Our problem - we have a problem with lust - a desire for something you can't rightly have (lust) - we have a problem with wrong thinking - porn is harmless entertainment - images on a screen are just objects to fulfill sexual desires - love is love - only people with perfect bodies are attractive - same sex attraction means you are gay - how you feel is more important than what you are - homosexuality is harmless - you should be able to do what you want to do - we have a problem of being influenced by the lifestyle around you 3. Our hope Gods prescription - the power of Gods Word (19) - drastic obedience Prov. 8:13, ps. 101:3; 119:4, 128 - remove, resist, reprove, redeem (3-5, 7, 11, 16) - Spirit dependent living (18) - the power of thankfulness (20)
