A\xefda started to work in the Beauty industry about 20 years ago, It was very different back then, because it was all about TV, print advertising and negotiating with retailers. Today, it\u2019s a very different story with e-commerce, social-commerce, influencers, as well as social responsibility and inclusiveness.

Coming from Benin in Africa, A\xefda has experienced a lot of changes in her personal and her professional life.

When she started working for MAC Cosmetics, that was a big change for her. Her boss said to her: \u201cFor a couple of months, your only job is to seat back and listen. Don\u2019t feel compelled to do anything\u201d.

That helped her to deeply understand her new environment at Mac\u2019s. And that was priceless for her creativity.
