Matthew Sweet talks to Germaine Franco, the first female composer to score a Disney animated feature, 'Encanto', which is nominated for best Original Score at this weekend\u2019s Academy Awards. Matthew invites Germaine to discuss the path that has led her to tomorrow\u2019s Oscar ceremony, about her career in film music and work on titles such as \u2018Coco\u2019, \u2018How to Train Your Dragon', and \u2018Dora and the Lost City of Gold\u2019, about her collaborations with the likes of Michael Giacchino, John Debney and John Powell, and he unpicks some of her thoughts about composing a successful soundtrack for Disney.
