Somerset Stories meets artist, block printer, and microfarmer \u2013 Jai Bess. Growing up in the county, Jai has always had strong values around how we can be better stewards of the land that surrounds us, and wants to create a movement which gives better access to communities looking to produce their own foods in a sustainable way. To communicate this, she creates signature prints which celebrate the freedom that food production and foraging gives us. Most recently, her family has embarked on a microfarming project, with the aim of bringing the food that we eat a lot closer to home.
