Mark Jackson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who wears several hats in the west coast of Florida. He is doing therapy with End Stage Kidney Disease patients as well as those already on dialysis. He does a free ESRD support group monthly for the past several years. He is the CEO of Omega Wellness LLC. In this role he does individual wellness plans, as well works with practitioners to boost efficiency and revenue by measuring their interventions. Mark shares that he has been drawn to wellness after helping his mother survive a three-month hospice diagnosis due to stage four cancer. He has realized that helping people stay or return to wellness is much more rewarding that symptom management. Mark was born in Jamaica and was awarded a full track scholarship to Long Island University, Brooklyn, New York. He then received his master’s in social work at New York University. He is currently married to Wife Dr. Janis Lawrence- Jackson and has three children: seven-year-old Summer and two-year-old twins Skye and TJ.
