Steve was born in Nebraska, grew up in Colorado and from a young age wanted to see the world.He joined the navy and spent 4 years travelling the seas in a submarine.Having visited Ireland several times with his family decided that Co.Mayo in the West of Ireland was a good place to settle for a while.He found a his dream job of working on a ferry to Clareisland after working different jobs in the town of Westport.It was a freak accident that made up Steve\u2019s mind to focus on his art. He lost one of his legs after it was badly damaged by a mooring rope.Steve is a prolific painter, sculptor and illustrator.
