The excerpts will include \u201cConduct in the Street\u201d and \u201cPolite Deportment and Good Habits.\u201d\n\nThe opening excerpt regarding conduct in the street refers to omnibuses. These were large horse-drawn carriages used for public transportation in the late 1800s.\n\nHartley was a Victorian-era writer covering topics of etiquette and needlework.
