Heroes Before Gallipoli

\nFollowing a telegram from Britain a few days after the outbreak\xa0of war in 1914, the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary\xa0Force (ANMEF) captured the German wireless station at Bita\xa0Paka in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea. The Shrine\u2019s David Howell\xa0will be joined by Reg Yates who recently uncovered the original\xa0foundations of this wireless station. Together, they discuss this\xa0important but little known campaign of the First World War.
