After two days, Jesus left there and went into Galilee. For Jesus himself declared that a prophet has no honour in his own country. So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him - they had seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, because they were there too. So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water into wine.

There was a certain royal official whose son was sick in Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come back from Judea to Galilee, the official went to Jesus and begged him to come down and heal his son, who was at the point of death. Jesus said to him, \u201cUnless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe a thing.\u201d

The official pleaded with him, \u201cSir, come down before my child dies.\u201d

Jesus said to him, \u201cGo on your way. Your son will live.\u201d The man believed what Jesus said to him, and he went on his way. While he was on his journey, his servants met him and reported, \u201cYour boy lives!\u201d So he asked them the time when his son began to get better. They told him, \u201cYesterday at 1pm, the fever left him.\u201d Then the father realised that this was the time when Jesus said to him, \u201cYour son will live.\u201d So he and his whole household believed.

This was the second sign that Jesus performed, after coming from Judea into Galilee.
