In all of our communities north of Boston in our generation, we need to see faith from all of us akin to what we see in the life of Moses. This is a rugged call and not an easy path. It\u2019s marked by defiance and self-denial and ultimately flourishes in demonstrable acts of faith that many just can\u2019t understand. The Author of Hebrews takes us through the life of Moses, a Jewish Giant of the Faith, from almost 3,500 years ago that has surprising similarities with our own day. We look into the text of Hebrews 11:23-29 and can see the same characteristics of a faith-filled life for our own day. Spoiler alert: It\u2019s not because Moses was a superhero, but he was a hero because of faith in God and the fulfilled work of One greater than Moses \u2013Jesus.
