Welcome back lovely yay-borhood! I won't talk too much as we have the first of a new more conversational segment coming soon when I\u2019ll have many more words for you about the new year, so allow me introduce our first guest for 2021, Donald Betts \u2013 our first guest with a political background as well as the first who moved TO law to seize his yay rather than away from it. We recorded just before the break last year and I\u2019m so glad I waited to edit and release this one because I too needed to hear this (with fresh ears) to get my motivation back and I can\u2019t wait for you all to as well.\n\nI am inspired by all of our guests in different ways, but occasionally I get truly bowled over and there are SO many reasons why I think Don will do the same for you \u2013 from his resolve to escape the life of gun violence and gang wars he grew up in (which very few of us can comprehend), to becoming the youngest Senator to serve in the history of Kansas, and from leaving politics to find his yay in law to the RIDICULOUSLY romantic way he speaks about meeting his wife\u2026.
