Troy Hunt, creator of Have I Been Pwned, added a new feature to the website called Pwned Passwords. This is a collection of over 500 million passwords that were collected from all the breaches. The reason this was created is that NIST has suggested a change to how businesses deal with passwords and password policies. They recommended that any password involved in a past breach can not be used in the company. That means if you had a password of Dog76@#!4zzA and it was breached, no one should use that ever, anywhere again.
This episodes goes into how this new website works.
