Will America's Weakness Invite the Ultimate "October Surprise"?

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.\xa0\n\xa0\nYou wouldn\u2019t know it listening to last week\u2019s Democratic convention, but we face the serious prospect of a shooting war with Communist China, possibly this fall. The Harris-Biden administration is not talking about that danger \u2013 but it may be the ultimate \u201cOctober Surprise.\u201d\xa0\n\xa0\nInstead, Cabinet officers like National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellin are, respectively, desperately trying to \u201cmanage the relationship\u201d diplomatically and financially prop up \u2013 read, buy off \u2013 Xi Jinping.\xa0\n\xa0\nMeanwhile, the U.S. Navy is\xa0inviting war\xa0by exhibiting weakness in the face of the CCP\u2019s immense naval buildup. The Pentagon just announced that seventeen warships must be sidelined for lack of personnel. Others are being retired prematurely, having maintenance deferred and new construction is woefully inadequate.\xa0\n\xa0\nPromises to \u201censure America always has the strongest, most lethal fighting force in the world\u201d must be translated into action\xa0now.\n\xa0\nThis is Frank Gaffney.
