It describes his Mandate of ministry that can be broken down this way. \nHis Mandate: \u2022 \u201cThe Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me\u201d \n\nHis Motivation: \u2022 \u201cThe LORD has anointed Me: \n\nHis Method: \u2022 \u201cto preach\u201d \n\nHis Message: \u2022 \u201cgood tidings\u201d \n\nHis Message recipients : \u2022 \u201cthe poor\u2026 brokenhearted \u2026 captives \u2026 those who are bound\u201d \n\nHis Measure: \u2022 \u201cpreach good tidings to the poor \u2026 heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound\u201d \n\nHis Mood: \u2022 \u201cto proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD\nAs Warren Wiersbe explains during the "favorable year" of Jubilee \n"all debts were canceled, \nall land was returned to the original owners,\n the slaves were freed, \nand everybody was given a fresh new beginning. \nThis was the Lord\u2019s way of balancing the economy and keeping the rich from exploiting the poor. \n\nIf you have trusted Christ as your Savior, you are living today in a spiritual \u201cYear of Jubilee.\u201d You have been set free from bondage; your spiritual debt to the Lord has been paid; you are living in \u201cthe acceptable year of the Lord.\u201d Instead of the ashes of mourning, you have a crown on your head; for He has made you a king (Rev. 1:6).
