I Don't Know Prayer Eph 3:20 #RTTBROS\xa0 #Nightlight\xa0\n\nGod Knows\n\n\ufffc\n\n"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." (Ephesians 3:20, KJV)\n\n\nIn times of crisis and uncertainty, we often come before God with what I call \u201cI don\u2019t know\u201d prayers. \u201cLord, I don\u2019t know how to save my marriage.\u201d \u201cFather, I don\u2019t know how to help my prodigal child return home.\u201d \u201cGod, I don\u2019t know how to break free from this addiction.\u201d We feel lost, afraid, powerless. We have reached the end of our own understanding and abilities.\n\n\nBut the God we cry out to is not limited as we are. He knows all things - the past, present and future are all open before His eyes. As Ephesians 3:20 assures us, He \u201cis able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.\u201d His power has no bounds, and His wisdom no end.\n\n\nSo we end our \u201cI don\u2019t know\u201d prayers with the three most powerful words we can utter: \u201cBut You do!\u201d But you do know how to heal my family, how to soften my child\u2019s heart, how to break the chains that bind me. You know the way even when I cannot see it. Your understanding is perfect.\n\n\nWe may feel lost, but our God knows the way. We may feel afraid, but He tells us \u201cFear not.\u201d We may feel powerless, but \u201call power belongs to God.\u201d When we do not have the answers, we can rest in the One who does.
