Bookends For Your Day Neh. 8:10 #Nightlight #RTTBROS\nBookends for your day.\n\n\n\nNehemiah 8:10 KJVS - 10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength\n\nI feel it my duty to be as happy as the Lord wants me to be\u2013Robert Murray McCheyne\n\nIt is imperative that we incorporate a sense of cheerfulness into our daily routines. To this end, I would like to offer two suggestions. Firstly, in the morning, sing a verse of a hymn as you begin your day. I enjoy gazing at the beauty of God's creation and giving voice to a verse or two of one of the great hymns of the faith. For example\n"I come to the garden alone\nWhile the dew is still on the roses\nAnd the voice I hear, falling on my ear\nThe Son of God discloses\nAnd He walks with me\nAnd He talks with me\nAnd He tells me I am His own\nAnd the joy we share\nas we tarry there\nNone other has ever known\nHe speaks and the sound of His voice\nIs so sweet the birds hush their singing\nAnd the melody that He gave to me\nWithin my heart is ringing"\n\nSecondly, before going to sleep at night, as a new nightly routine, think of three things that you are thankful for. Instead of allowing your mind to dwell on the stresses of the day, take some time to thank God for three good things. This could be for helping you not lose your temper, or a good deal you found shopping that day. By starting the morning with a song and ending it with a prayer of thanksgiving, we can establish a routine that will positively impact those around us, making us the kind of people who spread joy wherever we go.\n\nOur Podcast, Blog and YouTube Links\nhttps://linktr.ee/rttbros\n\nBe sure to Like, Share, Follow and subscribe it helps get the word out.\n\nRSS feed https://anchor.fm/s/127be410/podcast/rss\n\nhttps://linktr.ee/rttbros
