A Week Without Driving

While most Americans have access to some sort of private transportation, there are many who do not.  Those with disabilities, the young and the elderly are often at a disadvantage when it comes to the ideal of mobility.  A disability advocate organization in Washington State has challenged its local leaders and decision makers to go "A week without driving" in an attempt to get them to see their community from the viewpoint of those who find mobility a daily challenge, and the many ways it impacts their life and livelihood.
