It\u2019s estimated that less than 8% of visually impaired people in the UK can read braille.
\n\n\nHowever, with advancing technology and changes to the outdated braille readers there is talk about a potential raise in literacy levels.
\n\n\nJames Bowden, RNIB\u2019s braille technical officer, tells us more about what the future of braille could have in store for us.
