In the lead up to Christmas and New Year for this week\u2019s regular check in with Glasgow based Pharmacist Elizabeth Roddick we thought it would be a good time to talk about our medications and how to be best prepared for the festive holidays.
\n
\nElizabeth began by telling RNIB Connect Radio\u2019s Toby Davey about how some surgeries will allow patients to order their medications early in the lead up to the festive holidays. \xa0
\n
\nThen to the availability of Pharmacy services and where to go to find out the location of your nearest Pharmacy which will be open during Christmas and the New Year.\xa0
\n
\nElizabeth ended by giving some advice on what to have to hand in your first aid kit at home just in case you need to use it over the festive holidays.\xa0
\n
\nYou can find advice about out of hours Pharmacies and Doctors Surgeries on the following pages of the NHS website - https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/prescriptions-and-pharmacies/pharmacies/out-of-hours-medicines/
