Structures in nature are build sequentially with rules that defines how each addition is added.  This is why nature and maths overlap with the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio.  Most of technical analysis operates from patterns they recognise.  Some rules can be self-perpetuating as the actions by those that believe in this create the very pattern of behaviour they predict.  The core to this is a program of self reinforcing belief that the UK government has used against its public to accept the effectiveness of lockdowns and the use of masks.
