35. Ori Spado: The Accidental Gangster

Published: Dec. 21, 2020, 6 a.m.

For this episode, Orlando “Ori” Spado tells us how he went from selling insurance when he got out of the army, to getting into the organized crime scene. One minute he’s selling insurance and the next, he’s rubbing shoulders with mob bosses, Hollywood’s elite, and he became what is called a “Hollywood Fixer”. This episode is not promoting the mob or organized crime. Orlando wants people to know, it’s not what you see in the movies and tv. Sure you get the money, the cars, the arm candy, but you’re also risking your life and/or prison time. His story is very colorful. He had many highs and lows. I am so glad to call him a friend and that he is here to tell a fraction of his story. Trust me, you need the book to know more!

Orlando wants anyone who is caught up in the gang life, or even thinking about going that route, to e-mail him at theaccidentalgangster@gmail.com
During the end of the interview, he says to reach out to him and if you need help or advice, he is willing to trade phone numbers as well to talk to you. He’s a very smart man who has definitely been around the block more than a time or two. If you need him, he’s there.

Thank you Orlando Spado. You’re one cool cat! ;)
